So how can you stay hydrated in the parks without overspending. There are a couple of ways. All of the quick service restaurants will give each person a free cup of iced water upon request. No additional purchase is necessary. Keep in mind that water fountains are hard to find. For those of you that dislike unfiltered tap water, just bring a Brita or similar water bottle with its own built in filter. We did that, and filled up at our resort ourselves (sometimes with fruit infused water) or by asking a restaurant server for glasses of ice water with our breakfast. Then we just carried the water bottles in our backpack. Some fellow Disney World Junkies informed me that you can fill up with ice water at all Disney resorts quick service restaurants roo.
On another trip we stopped at a grocery store to pick up a case of bottled water and kept a few bottles cold each day in our hotel room mini fridge. You could also order cartons to your room from such grocery delivery services such as Garden Grocer. The downside to these bottles is they warm up quickly as they have no ice cubes in them. And I have been told that it isn't healthy to refill these later. The plastic bottles have been made for one time use only. But you could always just get cups of iced water after they are done.
The bottom line is that there are simple ways to save money on hydration will in the Walt Disney World parks.
